We are a full service Pilates and Fitness Studio serving the Thunder Bay area for over 22 years. It is our belief that Pilates is for everyone regardless of age, gender, body type, race, ability, or current fitness level.
We’ll meet you where you are. We know it can be overwhelming and even a little intimidating especially if you haven’t been active in awhile. Private/Semi-Private Training
Whether you’re new to Pilates or have some prior experience, Private Training is all about giving you the personalized attention you need so you can build strength, improve muscle tone, enhance flexibility, achieve better posture and improve core stability in a way that’s safe, effective and customized to your unique needs.
We focus on addressing any instability, muscular imbalances and postural issues in your body that if left unchecked could lead to injury or cause pain and discomfort. This brings about better alignment allowing you to move and feel better in your body, to progress quickly and to see results from your exercise program.
Our job is to support you, motivate you and keep you accountable as you work toward achieving your goals no matter what they are. We’ll be right by your side every step of the way and we’ll be your biggest cheerleaders!
Therapeutic Pilates/Corrective Exercise
At Ross Pilates and Conditioning we specialize in Therapeutic Pilates and Corrective Exercise so that you can reduce pain, stiffness and discomfort and begin doing the things you love again!
We’ve helped hundreds of clients over the years reduce and even eliminate chronic back, neck, shoulder, hip, knee and neck pain as well as those with Joint Replacements, Fibromialgia, Arthritis, MS, Parkinson’s Disease and more.

Small Group Classes
We specialize in Small Group Classes featuring the Pilates Reformer, Cadillac and Stability Chair, CoreAlign, MELT Method, Oov, Buff Bones, TRX and more . If you love the energy and motivation of group classes and still appreciate some individualized attention, we’ve got you covered.
Our wide variety of classes will keep your body guessing and progressing towards your fitness goals. Small class sizes ensure the highest quality and personalized experience possible. You can feel confident knowing your instructor not only understands you and your body, they also understand how to help you modify where needed in order to reach your individual goals, even in a class setting.
CoreAlign®
Developed by Physical Therapist Jonathan Hoffman, the CoreAlign® combines movement and whole body stability training that improves alignment, core stability, strength and mobility in a functional way that prepares the body for real life demands.
Regular practice on the CoreAlign can bring about profound changes in posture, balance, core strength, muscle balance, flexibility and overall better function.
CoreAlign exercises facilitate musculoskeletal rehabilitation and therefore can reduce pain and improve movement efficiency.
You'll be amazed at how quickly your body begins to transform with the CoreAlign exercises. The CoreAlign is a great compliment to your current Pilates or Fitness program or can be a workout all on its own.
MELT Method®
The MELT Method is a simple, self treatment technique designed to eliminate chronic pain and reverse the negative effects of aging by addressing the Nervous System and the Connective Tissue System. MELT helps reduce inflammation, enhance strength, balance and flexibility, reduce joint, neck and low back strain and discomfort, improve structural alignment and keep your whole body feeling free and moving with ease.

Smart Spine™ Wellness
The Smart Spine™ Wellness system was created by master Pilates teacher Marie Jose Blom. Marie-José pioneered the introduction and interest of the Pilates community to the scientific world of Fascia and her work has been an exceptional contribution to current research connecting wellness, movement, and the fascial system of the body.
The SmartSpine™ wellness system will enhance your movement sessions and allow for better postural alignment & supportive breathing techniques, better core function and enhanced flexibility allowing you to perform Pilates at a deeper stronger level.
New research reports that heat stimulates core muscle function. When used in conjunction with Pilates, the Smart Spine™ allows tense, sore superficial muscles to relax through the use of heat allowing for better recruitment of the deep core muscles.
The Franklin Method®
The Franklin Method® uses Dynamic Neuro-cognitive Imagery™, anatomical embodiment and educational skills to create lasting positive change in your body and mind. Buff Bones®
Buff Bones®, developed by Rebekah Rotstein, PMA®-CPT, is a workout that integrates Pilates, strength training, functional movement and rehabilitative exercise to improve the health and longevity of your bones and joints
Buff Bones® is medically-endorsed by the U.S. Surgeon General and has been featured at Canyon Ranch in Arizona, Rancho La Puerta in Mexico and at various conferences around the world including the International Osteoporosis Foundation Worldwide Conference in Athens, Greece and is adaptable to varying levels and safe for those with osteoporosis or osteopenia.
Regular participation in Buff Bones® helps to strengthen bones and build better bone density, stimulate bone growth, improve posture, balance and flexibility, build muscle strength and endurance, tone arms, hips, back and abdominals while building core strength and stability and promoting healthy functional movement.
